My name is Vic and I am the Director of Vic’s Flicks.  Because I love the old classic movies I took the opportunity in 1999 to show a couple of movies at a nursing home.  The enjoyment and pleasure the residents got from seeing “Call Me Madam” with Ethel Merman or “Calamity Jane” with Doris Day was out of this world.

With my data projector, 8 foot screen and my amplifier, speakers and DVD player combination I am able to assist organisations (such as aged care facilities) to show classic movies for the enjoyment of those who might have difficulty in traveling and who can remember and appreciate the true classic movie.

Vic’s Flicks has been formed to assist in the showing of old movies to small and large groups that find it difficult getting to the movies.  The movies can be projected onto a large screen or shown on the TV.

What we do:

The aim is to give a group of people a bit of cheering up (nursing home, retirement village)  especially those who remember and appreciate the old classic movies (before 1980).  If you would like us to assist you in showing the old classic movies please contact us.

If you want to assist us in some way please contact us.  We  are at present in the North-West Suburbs of Melbourne.

How we survive:

Vic’s Flicks doesn’t ask or seek any payment. It is a not-for-profit organisation and the community arm of Cammatech Pty Ltd.  Cammatech was originally formed to undertake research and development in vocational training.  It is now time to give something back to the community.  Costs associated with running and maintaining the equipment is met by Cammatech Pty Ltd and any donations/assistance that might come our way.  We have had a number of people who have donated their old movies to us and this is very much appreciated.  If you would like to be a sponsor please contact us by email at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
